May 16th

FIELD DAY IS THIS FRIDAY, May 18th.  Students follow the regular procedures and times for arrival and dismissal 8:30 - 11:30.  Parents are welcome to attend field day.  

What to wear/bring:

*cool comfortable clothing

*tennis shoes

*swim suit underneath clothing 

*sunscreen (please apply at home before sending your child to school)

*a hat may be helpful as well

*water bottle and a snack (finger food please)

*The towel, water bottle, and snack should be put in a backpack.  Your child will be responsible for carrying this from station to station during field day.

Field day picnic:

After dismissal, kindergarten students and their families are invited to join in the field day picnic. Grilled hot dogs and the trimmings will be served.  Kindergarten students must have a parent with them for lunch because it is after the kindies are dismissed from school that lunch is served.  Payments may be made with cash or with the student card on the day of the picnic.  Its a lot of fun!!

Tuesday, May 29th, We are going to have our graduation in the gym so we will have plenty of room for siblings and grandparents.  

Kindergarten graduation is from 10:30 - 10:55.  Your child will need to bring one of dad's white shirts to wear for the ceremony.  

Wednesday, May 30th, we will walk to the park, behind the school, for a class picnic from 9:00 - 11:00.  Parents and siblings are welcome. Your child will need a sack lunch and a drink.  We walk to the park and carry our lunch  in our backpack.  We will be enjoying this day with Mrs. Bellipanni's class as well.

Thursday, May 31st, will be our last day of kindergarten.  Mrs. Bellipanni and I will be ending our butterfly and insect unit with the movie BUGS.
